Alexandra Erin’s Assorted Tales

This was one of the stories I mentioned in my blog post about my possible future projects, specifically, the fifth one down on the list, described as “modern pulp action.” Fans of The Destroyer series (the “Remo Williams” novels) may recognize the first line as a small homage.

At this point in time, I’m not sure when I’m going to write more of it… and whether I’ll end up serializing it like my other projects, or publish it all in one go on Lulu with just a free teaser of the first couple chapters, or what. So, if you choose to read this chapter, know that you do so at you at your own risk… that is, if you find the story interesting, you may find yourself “left hanging” for some time.

Also, it says “Untitled”, but in fact it has a title… but that title doesn’t make much sense in the context of just the first chapter, and I don’t want reactions skewed by “Well, I didn’t get why…” or “The title made me expect…”
