Having published the first two books of Tales of MU on Livejournal and then copied them over to its own site… without copying the comments… it’s an interesting experience to watch the same range of reactions unfolding from an entirely new batch of readers.

You might expect me to have something to follow that up with. In fact, when I started typing, I thought I probably did, too… but it turns out that’s all I really have to say on the subject.

It’s a interesting experience, that’s all.

I’ve started a microfiction serial called The Tribe: Fantasy In Miniature… the “miniature” part refers to the format, where each update consists of exactly 333 words. This is meant to be both an exercise in brevity for me, and a way of making sure this side project doesn’t eat up my life.

I actually started it three days ago, but figured it would be a mistake to direct anybody to it when there was only 333 words of story to be read.
